It is possible so we highly recommend that users speak with their medical professional before starting CBD oil. This is of particular importance if you are taking prescription medications such as blood thinners or other medications that are metabolized by the liver.
Yes, that is correct. The 300mg bottle has a potency of 10mg/ml whereas the 750mg has a potency of 25mg/ml. So the 750mg bottle has 2.5X more CBD than the 300mg bottle.
20-25 milligrams is about the average that people take per serving based on what users have told us in our Facebook group. That is the stated number of milligrams on the bottle and the amount that your body actually absorbed is less than that depending on the bioavailability or absorption rate of how you take it.
It’s been reported that Tiger Woods and other pro golfers may use CBD gum but he definitely does not have his own brand of CBD oil. Many scammers who promise a “free trial bottle” but then start charging you up to $90/month for a low quality product use celebrity names in an unauthorized way. Avoid those offers at all costs.
Mary, you can first try contacting the company that is charging you and ask them to cancel your subscription. But they don’t always do that even when they say they will. You should contact your bank or credit card company and have them cancel your existing card and issue you a new one. That’s really the only way to know that the charges will stop.
That’s good advice, Daniel, so thank you. Unfortunately, there are many companies that are a part of this scam and getting the contact information for them can sometimes be a challenge since they really don’t want to be found by their victims. It can be a good idea to first try and contact the scamming company but people typically find that they have to find a resolution directly with their bank or credit card company. Thanks again!
The trade (dot) gov website seems to be a good resource for those exporting from the U.S.
The scammers make it very difficult for you to cancel because they just want your money. Your best move is to call your bank or credit card company and have them cancel the payment card that you used and issue you a new one. That’s really the only way to know that the charges and potential fraud will stop. You can also have them issue a “fraud chargeback” on any previous charges to hopefully get a refund from the credit card company.
All of the “free trial bottle” offers that we’ve seen are scams. Especially those that are supposedly endorsed by a celebrity. There’s more information about this scam and what you can do about it on this page of the website: https://cbdoilusers.com/cbd-oil-free-trial/
Hi Rafael, unfortunately not. New Leaf Naturals (not to be confused with NuLeaf Naturals which is a highly reputable brand) has been linked to the “free trial bottle of CBD oil” scam. They make it sound like you are just paying a small shipping fee for a sample bottle. But in reality, you are signing up for a monthly subscription (hidden in fine print) where they will charge you up to $90 a month for a low quality product. We recommend that you contact your bank or credit card company immediately and get a new card issued to prevent future charges.
Anne, you will want to contact your bank or credit card company and ask them to file a ‘fraud chargeback’ against the company that charged you. This will give you the best chance of recouping those charges. You’ll also want to have them cancel your existing card and issue you a new one because otherwise you will continue getting charged by these fraudsters.
Your difficulty in trying to figure out company names and get a copy of terms and conditions isn’t surprising. These outfits do everything they can to avoid being found because they are all about taking your money and avoiding the eyes of the FTC, banks and others who would stop them from doing so in a fraudulent way. This is why we always recommend that consumers stick with reputable brands with quality products and a history of satisfied customers.
We understand that choosing a brand from the estimated 3,500 companies currently selling CBD products online can be overwhelming. There is no “best” brand for everyone or for particular conditions. We often recommend that new users start out by buying the least expensive bottle from a safe and reputable brand so they can see if it works for them before committing to a larger purchase. Most people find that they need to try a few different brands before they find the one that works best for them. We have resources on this website, including a list of affordable samples and a price comparison chart, to help new users make their own informed decisions.
We’re not familiar with that brand. If you have concerns about their third party lab reports, you can call or email the testing lab shown on the report to verify their legitimacy.
Contacting the company who is charging you is typically a waste of your time. They are only after your money and often just keep charging you. You need to contact your bank or credit card company and tell them that you are a victim of this scam. Ask to file a “fraud chargeback” to recoup past charges and have them cancel your existing card and issue you a new one. That is the only sure-fire way to get the charges to stop.
The lack of regulation in the industry means that companies can use whatever terminology they want to on the website and labels. A truly full spectrum product will have detectable levels of THC up to the 0.3% limit. Even products marketed as being “THC free” can still have trace amounts that were less than the detectable limit used in the lab testing. These trace amounts can build up over time and trigger a positive test. So this is why we recommend that anyone who would suffer dire consequences from a failed drug test not use any CBD products. https://cbdoilusers.com/thc-free-meaning/
Vicki, you need to contact your bank to cancel your existing card and have them issue you a new one. Otherwise, these scammers will keep charging you every month. They are only after your money and will not stop trying to take money from your account.
A single drop is unlikely to have any effect but we do highly recommend that people start low (as in 5-10 milligrams per day) and then increase slowly over time until they find their personal optimal dosage. More information about how to find your optimal dose is in our dosing guide here: https://cbdoilusers.com/cbd-oil-drops-dosage-calculator/
The effects are highly individualized. Many people find that they have to experiment with a few different brands and product types before they find what works best for them. There just aren’t any products that work for everyone. Full spectrum is favored by most people based on polls in our Facebook groups. But some have an aversion to even trace amounts of THC so find that broad spectrum or isolate works best for them.
It really depends on the individual. Some find that even trace amounts of THC can result in increased anxiety so prefer broad spectrum or isolates. Others prefer full spectrum for the benefits of the entourage effect. Unfortunately, there is just no “best” brand or product type for everyone. Most people have to try a few different products to find what truly works best for them.
Many companies do have some shipping delays right after Black Friday and Cyber Monday because of the spike in orders from those sales. But I agree that 3 weeks is excessive. Thank you for sharing your experience!
Palmetto Harmony and Mary’s are full spectrum. I believe the others are broad spectrum. Whether it matters or not just kind of depends on the individual. Generally, full spectrum may be the better choice for you but everyone is different. I hope that you find the relief that you are looking for!
Terpenes can be purchased online from a variety of sources. True Terpenes (https://cbdoilusers.com/true-terpenes-reviews-ratings/) is considered the market leader but there are several options for consumers.
There are many reputable brands on the market and American Shaman is certainly one of them. It’s understandably confusing because as you said, pretty much every company will say that theirs is the best. The approach that you are taking is very common…trying several different brands until you find the one that works best for you. It’s also great that you can take advantage of the assistance programs that many brands offer to help you reduce your cost. One final thing to note that is often overlooked by folks is the importance of finding your “sweet spot” serving size or dosage level. Contrary to what some people assume, the amount that you take for best results is different by individual. People tell us that they have the most success by starting low and increasing slowly as needed until they find that sweet spot. CBD oil also doesn’t work immediately for most people. It can take some time to build up and activate your endocannabinoid receptors so patience is also important. Best of luck to you on your CBD journey!
Canadian laws regarding taking even hemp-derived CBD products in or out of the country are quite strict. Our store locator page can help you find a local store that sells CBD products in the U.S. https://cbdoilusers.com/cbd-oil-store-locator/
Possibly. You may want to pay particular attention to the carrier oil used in your current broad spectrum product. That may be what is causing the issues based on what other users have told us. So for example, if you current product uses a MCT coconut oil you may want to try a different product that uses hemp seed oil as the carrier or vice versa.
The carrier oil used in the product should not generally influence the best time or way of taking them. But you may want to experiment with the timing and method to find what works best for him.
It’s generally recommended that you apply the patch to a veinous area such as your inner wrist or ankle. We have a list of some recommended brands that offer CBD transdermal patches in the article above.
Hi Catherine, questions about how much to take are very common. We recommend that you use our drops dosage calculator to calculate the number of milliliters or drops you’d need to hit your desired serving size for the specific product that you have: https://cbdoilusers.com/cbd-oil-drops-dosage-calculator/. Best of luck in your CBD journey!
