Koi CBD Reviews for 2024

Koi CBD is a safe and reputable brand that was founded in 2015. That makes them one of the earliest and most trusted brands in the industry. While initially they were best known for their CBD vape liquid products, they have since expanded into a full line of premium products.

Their best-selling product is their Koi Naturals line of broad spectrum CBD oil drops (tinctures). They are available in 6 different flavors and 2 bottle sizes (30ml or 60ml). You also have a choice of strength that ranges from 8.3 mg/ml (lowest potency) up to 66.7 mg/ml (highest potency). Most beginners start with the 30ml bottle with either 500 or 1000 total milligrams of CBD. Please note that these tinctures are NOT safe for vaping.

The Koi CBD gummies are also extremely popular with users. You have 3 options for the Koi gummies: (1) full spectrum (include up to 0.3% THC), (2) broad spectrum “anytime balance” (THC free) and (3) broad spectrum “nighttime rest” (THC free).

In addition to their tinctures and gummies, Koi CBD has a wide selection of other products. These include softgel capsules and a variety of topicals. Most recently, they have also added Delta 8 THC tinctures, gummies and hemp flower to their product lineup.

All said, Koi CBD is a trusted brand that offers quality products. Third-party lab reports are available on their website for all products that give you full transparency.

  1. I have been baking “normal” CBD for quite some time with little to no pain relief. Yesterday I bought Delta 8 1 gram Koi vape. I’m used to taking long pulls on my vape device so I took a long pull on Koi and after a few minutes I was high as a kite. I was higher than when I smoked marijuana. I couldn’t even walk for about an hour. It did get rid of the pain I’ve had for the last 3 years 100%. So I’m going to try a little puff and go from there.

  2. I usually dont post personal stuff on but listen to this friends. Yesterday I purchased THC free Koi brand CBD oil and after half a day of use the back pain I have lived with for almost 20 years is gone. I feel like I experienced a miracle from god! I went to sleep for the first time since my car accident with zero pain. I woke up with no pain which hasn’t happen in so long! I usually head straight for my pain killers to start my day! People who know me know that my pain has affected every part of my life. I am going to keep this updated and spread the word to anyone who will listen!!!! It’s a miracle!!!!!!

  3. I bought the 250 CBD oil to vape and had a bad experience with it. The customer service I received from Callie at Koi CBD was first class. I bought this at a retail store that has no refunds or exchanges. She took it back through the mail and gave me a new product through the Koi website. It was shipped out today. The whole process with the return was outstanding. I’ve previously used cartridges with traces of THC so i believe this is why that particular style didn’t have the same effect on my anxiety. Anyways, Im very pleased. Thank you Callie!

  4. The first day I tried it I didnt think much of it. I dont know why but on the second day it had some effect and I love it. Helps me sleep and helps a little with the pain. Not a whole lot but it does help. It is a little high priced though. I just bought the dragonfruit flavor and it tastes pretty good but I love the strawberry milkshake the best so far. So I knocked off a star and a half for price and also because it doesn’t taste good at all. I don’t think it’s really made for oral but its great in a vape. Also not sure if the effect would be the same for pot heads. I could see it not being as effective if you use cannabis daily. But I dont and I love it. Also it can be harsh on the throat after you smoke a lot. But if you use a fresh coil you don’t get that burn in your throat. Also good for anxiety that I get occasionally.

  5. Bought Koi Naturals, natural flavor. It’s not made to vape but to use sublinguely. It’s so pure and taste only of hemp. Best under the tongue CBD oil we’ve tried. It helps my mother’s pain at night. This bottle is 30ml and has 1000mg of full spectrum CBD isolate but it doesn’t have terpenes which sucks in my opinion. It’s strong stuff at 34mg per milliliter. Don’t underestimate this Koi Naturals. I don’t believe in vaping. Thanks for reading.

  6. My almost 6-year-old, Ryker, has always been above average when it comes to…well, everything cognitive. However, he’s also always been behind with everything behaviorally and emotionally. So much so that he’s been in therapy for 3 years. At our wit’s end, we decided to take him to a neurologist to see what the issue was exactly. Going to get a second opinion to be sure. Long story short, we were told that starting him on medication would be a good idea since we’ve done everything we possibly can therapy-wise. Anyone who knows me knows that I’m far from anti-medication, especially when it comes to mental health. However, after looking into side effects and potential long term issues, we decided to hold off.

Not long after, I was talking with a friend who’s son is autistic and has ADHD. I noticed one day that his behavior was drastically different BUT he was still himself. Not zombie-like, not tired, just… calm. I asked her what she did and she showed me CBD oil. I had never heard of it before but needless to say I was intrigued! I went home and did my own research. There are 2 kinds of CBD oil. One with THC (the chemical that gets you high) and one without. I couldn’t find any bad information or reviews, and the only side effect I found was nausea if you take too much at once.

So I took ryker to the store and let him choose the flavor (lord knows the kids picky as all hell when it comes to medicine) and we started him on it Friday evening. Heath and I were both skeptical and weren’t expecting much. Boy were we wrong. He takes it no problem and it’s only been a few days but Ryker hasnt had even one meltdown. He still runs around and plays like his normal self, still talkative and still shows emotion. But no short fuse, no tantrum over the smallest things, no throwing himself on the floor and screaming when he doesnt get his way, no punching or throwing things when he cant figure it out…I pray that this continues to keep working for him and that he does well with it when school starts back up too! My heart is so happy right now I could cry.

  7. Bought a bottle of vape juice, 250 mg after reading a lot of good reviews. Can’t tell that it does anything. Can also be placed under the tongue. Still nothing. Tried doubling and still nothing. Does sting but is tolerable. Pretty pricey in my opinion at $48 for a small bottle that says it has about 30 servings. Wouldn’t mind paying that much if it worked.

    1. A few years ago, I shattered my foot which has required two painful surgeries as of now. Due to a change in my walking gait, I now also suffer from knee, hip and lower spine pain. I absolutely cannot function on pain meds and felt miserable every day. I started vaping with Koi 500mg Blue Raspberry. I enjoyed the taste but the sore throat from it really bugged me. I changed the flavor to the Vanilla Carmel Custard and the burning throat side affects subsided. I must tell you I cannot believe the pain relief I receive from this product! Additionally, since I have my pain under control my anxiety and overall exhausted, depressed state of mind is pretty much nonexistent. My family and friends have told me I am a completely different person.

It brings tears to my eyes, just thinking about the improvement in my quality of life. Typically, I vape several puffs when I first get up (4-5) and I am good to go for about four hours.
I have learned if I dose (vape) myself too much I will get sleepy, so be mindful of this. You will find your sweet spot with the dosage! I have used it sublingual and it seems just as effective but I don’t really care for the odd aftertaste. Give it a whirl! GOD Bless.

  8. Great gummies! Have helped my insomnia and anxiety. Pain, not so much. I have Fibromyalgia, OA, Insomnia, Gastritis and Duodenitis, etc. Next, I will be trying KOI oil for sublingual use.

  9. First I purchased White (flavorless) Koi 500mg to use with sample terpenes (from True Terpenes) and that worked fairly well. I could taste the terpenes and smell them. The taste of the Koi white is truly flavorless when vaping, but if you use it sublingually it tastes and burns like a hard alcohol would.

Then I bought (on sale) Pink, Red and Blue in the 100mg strength, mostly to taste flavors but I hoped to make a DIY concoction out of the Koi (that experiement failed miserably – so if you are thinking about doing this, think again). I think the 50/50 PG/VG solution was the main reason my experiment failed as it just didn’t mix properly.

Some people love the flavors, but to me they weren’t very good at all. Especially when you compare to the wide variety of e-liquids out there for vapers (with no nicotine) that I could potentially use for creating my own DIY vape juice. The four Koi flavors I tried all had that sting and burn flavor to them that reminds me of hard alcohol. I also think that Koi is a pretty expensive way to get CBD when you look at $ per mg pricing. I’m not sure if I will use what I have or give it away, but I definitely will never buy again.

  10. I have tried several CBD oils and Koi has them all best so far. I use in a vape and have tried all the flavors Koi has to offer and they are all very good. It works great with my foot pain and has got my blood pressure under control. Awesome product.

  11. I love Koi. It works great for my migraines, anxiety, nausea, and depression. I put it under my tongue and I vape. It works so fast too.

  12. Huge fan of Koi. Easy to use for cape or sublingual. Tase amazing and smokes nice. 3-5 puffs every few hours helps me with my anxiety and pain. Highly recommend this brand. I like Red and Jade the best.

  13. I have been vaping CBD for about 3/4 weeks now and still learning. I started off with a different brand at 100mgs. It worked ok for during the day, but I wanted something a little stronger. I decided to give Koi Jade 1000mg a try. I love it! Great taste and for me, instant relaxation. I will definitely purchase another flavor when my jade runs out. Looking forward on trying the pink lemonade and the strawberry milkshake, yummm!!
*(I have Crohn’s, anxiety, depression and insomnia)*

    1. I quit smoking cigarettes and my anxiety skyrocketed. I found Koi 500 mg full spectrum at the local vape shop. From day 1, it really helped with my anxiety. The flavor was great too. Spearmint. Will continue to use!

  14. I have RA and neck and back bulging disc, muscle pain ,spasms at times, and severe fatigue from RA. I also have trouble sleeping. I’ve been on koi 250mg for 2 wks. I take about 15 mg a day. It has helped tremendously with everything. I feel like a new person. I still have sleep issues as koi gives me energy so I don’t take it at bedtime. Everyone at koi is great and helpful. It tastes good to. I take it sublingual. I highly recommend it.

  15. If I only knew this years ago… I am a not too old veteran. I have severe RA, 2 bulging disks and 3 fractured vertebrae along with aches and pains through my body. I tried Koi for the first time 2 weeks ago. WOW! What a relief! Have tried all kinds of man-made medicines which really suck. Have smoked pot for a long time for the pain. Although with my current employer, I would be unemployed in a heartbeat. I slept great, felt no pain and no anxiety. Koi was my first CBD experience, recommended by a friend. Now I’m continuously recommending it to people in pain to try this. Customer service is awesome, delivery is fast, and great tasting.

  16. Koi was my first vaping experience. I ordered both the device and the Koi Gold 500 from the Koi cbd website. Customer Service is outstanding. I like the product and the company enough not to switch!

  17. I purchased the white 30 ml. 500 mg. bottle to vape and use sublingually. This is my first attempt at a sublingual/vape…. I do better with 1/4 of dropper several times a day and vape thru out the day. Would probably get the blue if I purchase again.
