Do I Need to Space Out Multiple CBD Oils?

Using Multiple CBD Products Isn’t Uncommon

The golden rule of CBD oil is that there is no “one-size-fits-all.” Most users have to experiment with different products and dosage levels to find what works best for them. In many cases, users find that one particular product gives them all of their desired results. But plenty of others find that a combination of different CBD oil products is optimal.

For example, some find through experimentation that one brand works best for their chronic pain but that another brand works best for their anxiety. In that case, it isn’t necessary to just choose one or the other. There’s nothing wrong with taking both to create your own custom combination that best addresses multiple symptoms.

Why would different CBD oil products have different benefits and effects? This is because different products and brands have unique cannabinoid and terpene profiles. The key objective is to find the right combination that works best for you.

Do You Need to Space Out Different CBD Products?

Spacing out different products is not a requirement, but again, it depends on the individual. Just like experimentation is typically needed to find the right products, it’s also common for users to experiment with the timing of taking them.

For example, many users find that one product produces energizing effects whereas another has a relaxing effect. The effect that a particular product has on you can be incorporated into your schedule for taking it. You may find it optimal to take an energizing product during the day and a relaxing product in the evening.

If you’re taking multiple products, you’ll want to be mindful of that when determining your dosage levels. Taking too much CBD at once can cause negative effects such as headaches, nausea, or a general worsening of the symptoms that you’re trying to address.

There’s no exact amount of CBD oil that qualifies as “too much” for everyone. For one person, taking 25 milligrams of one brand and 25 milligrams of another may be just right. For another person, it may be overwhelming.

If you experience negative effects, consider lowering your combined dosage or spacing out different products by at least 3-4 hours.

Experiment to Find What Works Best for You

A constant theme from users who have had success with CBD is that it’s important to be willing to experiment with different products and dosage levels. Everyone is different and there just isn’t an approach that works well for everyone.
